2. Performance Testing
The second step in week 0 is testing the key indicators of your performance. The tests are sequenced methodically to ensure the most accurate and useful results. We perform the tests every 10th week in training to measure objective improvement and to redirect your training strategy.
We measure how explosive you are with a static squat-jump vs. dip-jump vertical jump comparison test. The results determine your current Explosion Capacity.
We test your Strength with Bench-Press and Olympic Squat 5 rep maximum tests. The Results determine your Force Capacity.
We use your Squat performance to estimate your maximum total body power: Power Snatch and Power Clean & Jerk 1 rep maximums. The results determine your Power Capacity.
We test your cardiovascular endurance capacity with a VO2 maximum treadmill test; this is a key metric of your Enurance Capacity.
